A training uniform is desirable to achieve maximum effect for a number of exercises however many can be done effectively without a uniform.
Do I have to be in shape to do Juido?
No the reason to take Juido is because it allows you to set your own pace on your road to physical fitness.
How long until I start to notice a difference.
Most students report noticeable results by the end of the sixth session or sooner.
Can I do Juido at home?
Juido exercises involving a partner are not recommended however many of the Juido solo exercises can be done safely and effectively at home.
Many students are wearing colored belts. Won’t I feel out of place as a beginner?
No, one of the unique characteristics of Juido is that it allows students of all levels to train together effectively and safely.
So why do some students have colored belts.
A colored belt indicates a higher level of understanding of the Juido techniques. This understanding allows the student to achieve a more intense effect from the same exercise than someone with less experience. Most colored belt holders have chosen to make a long-term study of the system because of benefits they feel it has provided them. The color of belt represents their progress on that path.
Do I have to learn the whole system to achieve fitness?
No even a basic knowledge of the system provides an extremely effective means of achieving a balance of strength, flexibility and aerobic fitness. |
